I thought I would have a post about Marcus Lancaster done by today.
Some of you know that I’m dealing with a couple of auto-immune illnesses. Musclular Sclerosis and Fibromyalgia. Usually, I don’t have problems with working on things, but there are times when I just feel sore and tired, which makes it hard to write at all. The spoons are all gone for today, it’s been “one of those weeks”.
Spoons?
Spoons reference is from a website called “But You Don’t Look Sick”. Christine Miserandino came up with a good way to describe living with a chronic illness. You can read up on her theory HERE.
You only have so many spoons for each day. You can save a couple for tomorrow if you’re careful. Or, you can push it and even borrow some from tomorrow. Borrowing will, however, leave you short tomorrow.
The whole idea is to balance every day so you have spoons to do what you need to do.
And right now I’m all out of spoons.
I have that wonderful post about Marcus Lancaster almost finished and I’ll try to get it up later this week.
Just as soon as I get more spoons.
